Lemon essential oil – citrus limon peel oil

A fragrance that brings joy! It is the essence of summer captured in a bottle. Approximately 25 large lemons from sunny Italy are needed to produce 10 ml of oil. The oil is obtained by pressing the peel.

Effects:
antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antiseptic, astringent, mood-enhancing, concentration-enhancing. Lemon oil repels insects. It tones oily skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. It is valued during colds. In natural medicine, it is often recommended for depression and ADHD.

Safety:
Lemon oil can be used on children from 6 months of age (in sprays, in contact with the skin from 2 years of age). It is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. When dissolved in a base oil (e.g., our sweet almond oil works great here), it can be applied to the skin.

Application:
- aromatherapy – safe for use in oil diffusers (aromatherapy humidifiers, oil burners, oil nebulizers)
- as an additive to DIY cosmetics
- for saunas
- as an additive to homemade cleaning products and air fresheners
- as an additive to insect repellents for humans and animals
- for wood protection.

This oil is rich in D-Limonene. This substance is an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties, which boosts immunity. It acts as a natural preservative, killing pathogens. Its effect on appetite suppression and weight loss is still being studied. D-Limonene relieves stress and promotes restful sleep.

Note: the oil is a photosensitizing substance, do not apply it directly to the skin before going out in the sun.

Storage: keep the tightly closed bottle away from heat sources. Preferably in the refrigerator.

Capacity: 10 ml.

Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if allergic.
